David Peyote is a multidisciplinary artist from Montreal, Canada who has a flair for creating eccentric tattoos in the most vivid mix of dark and bright colours. He started his artistic journey with graphic design to eventually transition to tattooing back in 2012. His distinctive psychedelic/surrealistic style led him to travel all over the world for guest spots and conventions. He’s been featured many times in magazines, blogs and tv shows.

In 2019, David and his partner Saska decided to open Velours, a hybrid tattoo studio and streetwear label ο»Ώlocated in the up-and-coming neighborhood of Saint-Henri, in Montreal, Canada.

No travel dates for the moment.

The waiting time for the first appointment is approximately 4-6 months.  We do not book further than 6 months ahead. If you want your appointment later, do not send your form right now. We highly suggest to book multiple appointments in advance. This prevents from waiting another 2-3 months between each sessions once the project is started. David’s schedule is from Tuesday to Saturday starting at 11 AM. Please note that Saturdays are booked very fast so the waiting time might be longer.

Consultations are usually not required before the appointment, unless the artist decided he needs one. The design of the tattoo will be made on the first appointment.

The pricing of a tattoo by David is defined by size, placement and complexity of the project. We have a minimum price of 800$ a day for a piece that needs less than 4 hours. An hourly rate is available for larger scale project such as sleeves, full back and full front. An estimate of the numbers of sessions needed will be made on the first appointment depending on the size and complexity of the design. If your project is selected, you will receive an email with a link to book the appointment. It will be confirmed when the $100 deposit is received. The deposit will be taken off the total price once the tattoo is done.
